Actress Adah Sharma is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. She has come under the radar of netizens over her ‘who wore it better’ post featuring late legendary singer Bappi Lahiri. A certain section of people is trolling Adah for being so insensitive after she compared herself with the late iconic singer. In her post, the actress shared a photo collage asking ‘who wore gold jewellery better’-Bappi Lahiri or her. Adah, since then, has been receiving huge backlash from netizens.
The actress took to her Facebook page and shared a photo collage featuring herself and the late composer-singer. The left side shows a picture of Bappi wearing his trademark gold jewellery and on the right, Adah is seen wearing multiple gold rings and chains. She captioned the post, “Who wore it better?.” In the collage, Adah also showed off her cleavage in a braless outfit.
Fans of Bappi da and netizens in no time took to the comments section to criticize the actress. One user commented, “This is so disrespectful,” another wrote. “Comparing for fun is different, but just after someone’s demise? Sorry, but I thought only your movies were trash, looks like you have an even trashier upbringing and person.” A third user reacted, “Shame on u...is this time to make fun..against this divine soul.”
Popularly known as the 'disco king of Bollywood', Bappi Lahiri passed away on February 15 at the CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, director of the hospital revealed that the singer had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight.
